ARCHERY & RIFLE HUNTS WITH TRI MOUNTAIN

RIFLE HUNTS

Our rifle season runs for 5 weeks starting the end of October and running through the end of November.

This is a 5 day hunt. Arrival on Saturday, departure on Friday - all hunts begin on Sunday.

We take 6 to 8 hunters per week. We use one guide per 2 hunters (unless prior arrangements have been made).

We offer nothing but fair chase hunts. We do a lot of spotting, glassing and stalking.

Our mode of transportation is 4-wheel drive crew cabs and suburbans.

Our lease is well roaded, enabling us to put together a hunt for just about anyone, regardless of your age or physical condition.

Our area is a brow tine only (no spike bulls).

Our resident elk herd is 350 to 600 head, we have a 75% to 80% kill ratio on bulls that are 5 points or better.

ARCHERY HUNTS

Archery season is often the most exciting time to hunt elk in the Big Sky Country.

It opens in early September and runs through mid October, coinciding with the elk rut and bugling season.

In the past 2 years we have averaged 90% on shots under 30 yards.  So if your looking to put a little excitement in your hunt, this is for you!

This is a 5 day elk hunt, with 4 to 6 hunters per week, we use one guide per 2 hunters.
